3×21: Al Sah-Him Preview and Teasers

“My name was Oliver Queen. For three years, I worked to save my city. But to save my sister, I had to become someone else, I had to becoming something else.” Things have changed in Arrow… Al Sah-Him, Heir to the Demon is born. Oliver Queen is dead. And the crux of this episode sees Team Arrow coming face to face with their former leader as he seeks to deal with his rival, Nyssa.

Laurel actually gets some scenes this week and they’re good ones too, as we see how her relationship with Nyssa has developed. Diggle, Thea, Lyla and Felicity are reeling from what’s happened to Oliver and host a nice memorial dinner for him. Then, Al Sah-Him is training with Ra’s and undergoing a rigorous transformation to becoming heir and arguably, those scenes are some of the strongest the episode has on offer.

Whereas last week was disappointing, this week gets right back into gear.

The flashbacks continue to slowly get somewhere. The Alpha Omega has been released and chaos is ensuing, with Team Flashback pushing to try and stop Shrieve’s plan as well as saving themselves. Though, it appears something rather unkind is looming just around the corner…

Some teaser quotes:
1. “Oliver Queen is alive only in the past. He is forgotten.”
2. “I will not kill an unarmed man.”
3. “I just put a tracking device on her.” “Huh?” “This isn’t my first day.”
4. “I don’t care if the hood is black or green, you’re still you.”
5. “Get away from him or the next one goes in your eye.”
